Are you going through a difficult time in your life right now?
The question is not how to get out of this and pass it as quickly as possible but to what’s happening to me? What has come to teach me this physical pain and emotional? The meaning of everything is the meaning that you give to it.
How can you put your situation, no matter how difficult and painful it is in a context that will help you keep going?
The meaning you give to things affects how you feel, how you feel It affects the actions you take or don’t take. And your actions affect your RESULTS.
We all have a hard time in life. The death of a loved one, a divorce, loss of a job, conflicts or lack of understanding of certain events, the pain of a loved one or the difficulty of putting limits to the people around you.
The experience of situations of deep pain, have been central to me Learning in life.
The first thing I think you should keep in mind is that when something like this happens, a loved one dies, you separate from a person you love or have loved, you have an illness, intense physical pain, or you simply feel sad or a little depressed … you will feel, pain, sadness … This pain is not a Mental illness.
Today there are many people diagnosed with depression, who are medicated for a suffering that is a necessary part of life’s learning.
Recently I heard from several young people, close to my circle of people; They have tried to commit suicide. Suicide rates increase, do not decrease and in young people !!!
My personal experience and the experience of many people with whom I have spoken is that:
“THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL IS ONE OF THE MOST TIMES TRANSFORMERS THROUGH WHAT WE PASS IN LIFE. THEY ARE SACRED INITIATIONS ”
In these processes you learn things, that’s why they hurt so much. Because you have to look things that hurt to see. You have to look at what is YOUR part in what has happened, What are your failures, your disasters.
The mind has an immune system just like the body. If you have a car accident, your mind needs to understand that you will need some time to heal your body. If you go through a difficult time of pain, whatever it is, you will feel that you are emotionally damaged because you are!
“THE HUMAN BEINGS CANNOT FEEL THE EMPATHY IF WE ARE NOTABLE TO RECEIVE A HIT ”
Not only physical but emotional and psychologically. We know how to work the body’s and mind’s immune system.
You need time not medication. You’re going to be sad for a while, you’re going to feel sorry for a while …
Normal human suffering is beginning to be treated as a pathology. A doctor should keep in mind that the patient is not only a body and a mind It also has a soul. And this normal suffering is a spiritual work, It is a work of the soul.
Budha said “life is suffering” and in his practices teaches the relationship between suffering and personal fulfillment.
But if we look at other trends such as the life of Jesus or Moses, suffering was central to their teachings.
We live in a society where if you are sad they tell you: own this or that, buy this or that. Budha said “material things will not give you happiness.”
My message today is not to hide or run away from these moments of pain, You can find light, goodness and peace in them.
I remember years ago, I was living the biggest “dark night of my soul” were really difficult times for me … a lot of pain!! and my yoga teacher gave a class called “the 4 cardinal points”. I remember that she said like buffalos; when they see a storm coming they don’t turn around and run away, they dive into it. A great teaching of how we must face the moments of pain.
“DARK DAYS ARE A NATURAL PART OF THE MOMENTS OF TRANSFORMATION”
If something has happened in your life, painful, of course you are sad! You are a human being.
1. The goal should not be to try to balance your emotions.
“IF YOU ALLOW, THE PAIN, WHEN THIS IS ENDED, IS ENDED! IF YOU DON’T PERMIT IT, IT WILL BITE YOU, IT WILL FOLLOW YOU UNTIL YOU FACE IT ”. “IT’S A PAINFUL TIME BUT IT WILL HAPPEN”
2. Once this is understood you need help that is not from this world.
You can deliver to your personal guides what you need to transform. A spiritual problem needs a spiritual solution that will come from an internal and not external source. You can create an altar, in your mind, where you contact these guides and deliver what you need to face. You have work to do, look at your part in this, hold you accountable, apologize for what you have to apologize and make changes in yourself.
Otherwise you will repeat the situation, these are the things you can put on your altar, in your mind and your heart to connect with that inner source:
your anger, your feeling of victim right now, the belief that the death is not the end (it is the end of the physical body but not the spirit), my resentment, the sense of having failed, the belief that I will never love again … the difficulty of setting limits to others …
3. They are sacred periods where a deep work is done.
The physical and psychic pain brings a message and you have to listen to it, pay attention to it. A broken bone needs something for inflammation and a rehabilitation. An intense back pain needs time and rest! The Psychic damage needs to re-edit thoughts to re-edit emotions. Just so you can move forward, towards a better place, being a better person with a more open heart, you will have more sensitivity to see and understand the pain of others. You will have more consideration, compassion towards others.
4. THE UNIVERSE WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOU ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. IF YOU HAVE DONE IT WRONG IT WILL GUIDE YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. WHAT IF YOU HAVE HAD CONSIDERATION WITH YOU, YOU WILL HAVE MORE WITH OTHERS AND YOU WILL THINK IT TWICE BEFORE JUDGING ”
5. There are times when things happens in your life as a death, a divorce, a disease and yet you see a cloud of sadness approaching you.
It happens to me sometimes and I say to tell myself:
“You have no right to be sad because you have everything! and see how much suffering around. ” Well, my wild and wise woman says that “YES” you have all the right to feel sad when there is pain around. If you look at today’s world there are many reasons to feel sad and if you don’t feel Pain is not mentally healthy.
6. “THE FACT OF FEELING SAD SOMETIMES IS THAT WE ARE SENSITIVE HUMAN BEINGS ”DOESN’T MEAN SOMETHING IS BAD WITH YOU”
If we look at the modern world, the organizations that control the world are condemning our spirituality. Look at the principles that govern it, our suffering should serve for something more than for the pharmaceutical industry to make money.
⁃ The economy is given more importance than creating community. What to take care of others and our own children.
⁃ They make us believe that the outside world is more important than the world inside.
⁃ They make us live in a wheel chasing those external things and they tell us that will bring us happiness.
“Budha said: If your happiness has its center outside of you it won’t last forever” True happiness has its center within you.
IF WE RECOGNIZE WHAT IS WRONG IN OUR LIFE AND IN THE WORLD, THIS WILL WAKE US UP TO SEE WHAT WE HAVE
HOW DO WE EDIT OUR THOUGHTS?
The question is not how to end the pain if not. Why? Which is the Meaning of this pain and what do I need to learn?
Instead of thinking if you’re getting everything you need, why don’t you ask yourself; Am I giving everything I have?
In each painful experience there is a learning, wisdom that comes from the experience. But only in this way can you move forward and not repeat the same mistakes. So you will be a better person and you will have a life of greater expansion because you will have a more expanded heart and mind.
SUMMARY OF BASIC SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES
⁃ Love is real and nothing else exists
⁃ we have come to take a sacred journey and learn one thing: love
⁃ Forgiving is the key to happiness.
⁃ You are love, Love is who you are.
⁃ If you don’t practice compassion and forgiveness you can’t be happy.
“EXPERIENCE AND FEEL YOUR OWN PAIN WILL TEACH YOU TO SEE AND FEEL THE PAIN OF OTHERS MORE EASILY ”
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT SOMEONE WHO YOU LOVE WHEN IT IS SAD?
BEING THERE! Simply be, with presence. No matter what you are going to say, it matters accompany, be. If someone is going through a moment of pain they don’t need we to distract them from their sadness, you need to feel that you are accompanied. Accompany with empathy.
